AgriSTEM Students

Begin at 7:45 a.m. for morning barn chores and animal assessment routines

Class schedules vary by day and grade level. Each morning begins with early-arriving students heading to the barn to complete animal chores and attend to daily farm responsibilities.

Formal instruction begins promptly at 8:00 a.m., with students engaging in a structured rotation of core subjects including spelling, language arts, reading, science, math, geography, and history.

Throughout the week, students also participate in a variety of enriching specialty classes such as French, art, music, home economics, pottery, and precepts, which are thoughtfully rotated among grade levels.

In the afternoons, the school day often transitions outdoors, where students apply their learning through hands-on, experiential activities. This intentional balance of academics and practical application fosters deeper understanding and a meaningful connection to the world around them.

Kind Words

SVCS provides precisely the education I was searching for our children; a beautiful blend of academic rigor while rooted firmly in outdoor play. The farm animals are charming companions, the forest to run wild in builds character, and the teachers manage to all feel like a warm hug while holding the students to high standards. I’m beyond grateful for this school and its wonderful impact on our family.
